Thelma Zak has been dealing in 17th and 18th English furniture since 1976. She first began trading as partner-owner of Zak & Brooks Antiques in Denver, Co. which specialized in high country English antiques. She has also been a partner-owner of The Sideboard Antiques in Denver, Co. which dealt primarily in American country furniture. In 1991, she opened Sylvan Hill Antiques in Grafton, Vermont. Andrew, Thelma's son, has recently joined the business, as partner, having grown up with antiques and having been a collector himself for a number of years. This mother-son team should certainly enable Sylvan Hill Antiques to strengthen its service capability and further develop what is fast becoming a family business. |
